ABOUT UTI
EQUIPMENTENVIRONMENTAL

Utility Technologies, Inc. (UTI) was formed by Kevin Schenck, Kurt Anderson and Ed Schenck in 2005. Since beginning construction in Alaska we have expanded from an office in Anchorage to offices in Palmer, and a seasonal office in Fairbanks. We also have offices in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

UTI has performed construction in all corners of Alaska to include Nome, Prudhoe Bay, Kodiak Island, Ketchikan, Kenai Peninsula, Fairbanks, Anchorage and the Alaska Peninsula.

UTI has been in its current organization since early 2005 but has a significant history with utility construction in Alaska. Prior to 2005, Kurt was employed by GCI for 7 years as Sr. Manager, OSP Design & Construction, overseeing all terrestrial construction for GCI. Prior to UTI, Kevin and Ed were owners of Schenck Communications, Inc. which enjoyed a relationship with GCI and its predecessors that spanned nearly 30 years.
